Pushing the boat out…
Why does it feel scary to think about a great idea, and actually posting it?
I’ve always wanted to share my artwork online and maybe get the chance to give someone or something a commissioned piece. I just give myself excuses and don’t do anything about it. Which is silly I know. I’m not 100% sure, however it’s out and I’m forever grateful to even think about what work I’ll be doing and posting it on my pages.
At the end of the day, even if nothing happens, something will come and it will slowly become an occuring task that I know I will enjoy because its creative and fun.
Sadly, I do see myself as a negative thinker, and this is me being honest, I’m always giving friends and family so much support but never for myself…oops. All I have been seeing around me are reminders to just ‘Push yourself’, ‘You never know what will happen if you don’t try it’. Unfortunately this is very true. It can be an experience and a lesson learned, which to be honest, I’m happy with this concept.
Even writing this up, I wasn’t sure if this page of the website would be even considered to ‘keep’. In reality it’s my way to learn how to use language differently when writing, PROOFREADING…and I mean lots of it. I’m definitely more of a visual learner with a hint of wanting to do everything…and then slowly burnout without realising!
I have also got to include reading…oh my I use to DESPISE reading. I didn’t feel confident to read outloud, reading at the slowest pace because if I did speed up I would lose track, and some of the genre just wasn’t my cup of tea. Also I found it boring. Since growing up I’m glad I pushed myself to read again and just go with the flow with it. Especially the genre. Absolutely love fantasy / medieval theme. It brings out a whole new world and just gives you a chance to break way from real life. I want to be inside the book I beg.
Currently reading Throne of Glass: Empire of Shadows…and oh my. I won’t give too much detail but this series as a first time reader has got me so hooked I have been reading CONSISTENTLY! Hopefully thinking about making some art based on the series AGH!

If you have a little twitch you feel and not sure whether to do that idea, go for it. It can only go one way or the other.
